NOVELTY - Adhesive composition comprises a photocurable monomer having linear formula. USE - Adhesive composition used as an electrode material of a lithium battery for adhering the electrode material by light curing. The electrode materials includes graphite, carbon nanotubes, hard carbon, soft carbon, graphene, silicon-carbon composite materials, silicon oxide-carbon composite materials, and tin-based materials (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The adhesive composition has excellent peel strength, cycle stability, and stability in the electrolyte environment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Adhesive composition comprises a photocurable monomer having linear formula that is A-X(OH)n, where A is selected from one of groups containing unsaturated functional groups, X is selected from the group formed by the loss of any n+1 hydrogen atoms on the aromatic ring of an aromatic compound, n represents the number of hydroxyl groups substituted on X and an integer selected from 1-3.
