NOVELTY - Preparing nanocomposite filler comprises (i) adding the graphene oxide into the water for ultrasonic dispersion, then adding ethanol to obtain oxidized graphene dispersion, (ii) adding aqueous ammonia and catalyst into the dispersion of the graphene oxide obtained in step (i), and then dispersing to obtain mixture, (iii) adding a silicon source monomer into the mixed solution obtained in step (ii) at 30-80 degrees C, and stirring the reaction, and (iv) washing the product of step (iii), and drying to obtain final product. USE - The nanocomposite filler is useful in situ growth of silica on an graphene oxide surface (claimed).
