NOVELTY - A metal substrate is etched using diluted acid solution, heated, methane, ethane, propane, acetylene and ethanol are introduced into surface of metal substrate, light catalytic chemical vapor deposition is carried out, cooled, and carbon nanotubes are scraped, to obtain carbon nanotubes powder. Powder is placed on collector and pressed into sheet, to get working electrode. A reference electrode and working electrode are soaked in ion liquid electrolyte, applied to forward voltage, and then applied to reverse voltage, filtered, washed, and dried, to obtain graphene nanobelt. USE - Preparation of graphene nanobelt (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene nanobelt having favorable quality. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A metal substrate is etched using diluted acid solution in absence of oxygen and protective gas atmosphere, heated at 600-900 degrees C under ultraviolet radiation, methane, ethane, propane, acetylene and ethanol are introduced into the surface of metal substrate, light catalytic chemical vapor deposition is carried out for 30-300 minutes, cooled to room temperature, and carbon nanotubes are scraped from the surface of metal substrate, to obtain carbon nanotubes powder. The carbon nanotubes powder is placed on the collector and pressed into sheet, to get working electrode. A reference electrode and working electrode are soaked in ion liquid electrolyte, applied to forward voltage of 0.1-10 V, maintained for 0.1-10 hours, and then applied to reverse voltage of -20 V to 0.1 V, maintained for 0.1-10 hours, filtered, washed, and dried, to obtain graphene nanobelt.
