NOVELTY - A method is provided to fabricate a mixed membrane. The membrane contains graphene. The membrane is used as a separator in a vanadium redox flow battery. The present invention aims at developing a nano-porous membrane. The material of the membrane itself is mostly selected from polysulfone (PSF) and polyvinylidenefluoride (PVDF). Then, phase inversion is used to form a porous proton-exchange membrane (polysulfone membrane). The porous proton-exchange membrane obtained in this way has its pore size controlled by using different concentrations of polysulfone polymer. Regarding the improvement in hydrophilicity, the present invention improves the hydrophilicity of polysulfone polymer when raw materials are being prepared. Thus, with the mixed hydrophilic graphene oxide (GO), the possibility of modifying the hydrophilicity of the main body is proved by the experiments that followed. The efficiencies of voltage and energy of the porous proton-exchange membrane are improved.
