NOVELTY - A positive electrode material with core-shell three-layer composite structure comprises a lithium-rich material core whose outer surface is sequentially coated with lithium iron phosphate layer and carbon layer. USE - The positive electrode material with core-shell three-layer composite structure is useful in lithium-ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The positive electrode material with core-shell three-layer composite structure can completely avoid the risk of lithium-rich material contacting and reacting with air or reaction solvents, reduces the cost of material storage environment control and the process cost of material processing and use, overcomes the defect of insufficient conductivity, and has increased capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the positive electrode material, which involves mixing lithium-rich material and lithium iron phosphate material, sintering to obtain an intermediate material, mixing with a carbon source and calcining.
