NOVELTY - Preparing sulfonated graphene oxide-chitosan composite material comprises mixing formamide and chlorosulfonic acid in volume ratio of 20-30:6-9 to obtain a sulfonating reagent, adding graphene oxide-chitosan composite material to sulfonated reagent, and carrying out reaction at 65-75degrees Celsius for 3-5 hours, uniformly dispersing graphene oxide-chitosan composite material in sulfonated reagent, washing and suction filtering reaction solution until filter cake is neutral, subjecting filter cake to dialysis treatment for 24 hours, and freeze-drying to obtain sulfonated graphene oxide-chitosan composite material. USE - The method is useful in preparing sulfonated graphene oxide-chitosan composite material in antibacterial agent (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has good water dispersibility.
