NOVELTY - Preparing lignin-based graphene/zinc oxide hybrid complex comprises e.g. dissolving lignin in water, heating under basic condition, adding active agent to react, adding carboxy reagent solution, and reacting at constant temperature to obtain carboxylated lignin; adding a zinc salt to the aqueous carboxylated lignin solution, after heating the reaction, then adding weak acid reagent, stirring well, drying to obtain carboxylated lignin and zinc salt complex and calcining at high temperature, the active agent is dioxane, sodium periodate, ethanol, isopropanol and/or acetone. USE - The lignin-based graphene/zinc oxide hybrid complex is useful in the field of super-capacitors, lithium-ion batteries and photocatalysis (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing lignin-based graphene/zinc oxide hybrid complex comprises dissolving lignin in water, heating under basic condition, adding active agent to react, adding carboxy reagent solution, and reacting at constant temperature to obtain carboxylated lignin; adding a zinc salt to the aqueous carboxylated lignin solution, after heating the reaction, then adding weak acid reagent, stirring well, drying to obtain carboxylated lignin and zinc salt complex and calcining at high temperature, the active agent is dioxane, sodium periodate, ethanol, isopropanol and/or acetone; the carboxylating agent is monochloroacetic acid, monobromoacetic acid, iodoacetic acid, sodium chloroacetate and/or dichloroacetic acid. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing lignin-based graphene/zinc oxide hybrid complex as mentioned above.
