NOVELTY - Carbon-plastic composite bipolar plate comprises 5-20 wt.% polyphenylene sulfide resin, 5-15 wt.% polyvinylidene fluoride resin, 2-5 wt.% styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene resin, 65-85 wt.% conductive filler, and 3-15 wt.% fiber reinforced material. USE - The bipolar plate is useful for proton exchange membrane fuel cell, alkaline anion exchange membrane fuel cell, and methanol fuel cell (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The bipolar plate utilizes filler with good thermal conductivity, high strength, good chemical stability, strong corrosion resistance and high electrical conductivity, which can greatly improve the mechanical properties, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity of the bipolar plate, can greatly reduce the body resistance and contact resistance of the bipolar plate and improves the performance of the whole battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for: a method for preparing the bipolar plate, comprising pre-processing and mixing raw materials and carrying out compression molding process.
