NOVELTY - An electrode sheet comprises a current collector, and a carbon coating layer, an active material layer and a protective layer laminated on at least one surface of the current collector. The current collector is provided with tabs. The minimum distance (W2) between the active material layer and tab is more than the minimum distance (W3) between protective layer and tab, and less than the minimum distance (W1) between carbon coating layer and tab. USE - Electrode sheet e.g. negative electrode sheet and positive electrode sheet is used in battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrode sheet can improve safety and cycle quality of the battery.
