NOVELTY - Preparation of a high specific surface area graphene comprises carrying out low-temperature pyrolysis expansion of graphite oxide at 260-800 degrees C in the protection of an inert gas. USE - Method for the preparation of a high specific surface area graphene (claimed) used in a lithium-ion cell cathode material. ADVANTAGE - The graphene has uniform size distribution with a controllable structure. It improves specific capacity of the cell, and the specific capacity is stabilized to 500 mA-hour/g after circulating for 100 times.
