NOVELTY - Preparation of tricalcium aluminate involves milling calcium carbonate and aluminum, cooling to obtain a mixture, adding to lined cylindrical graphite crucible graphene paper, transferring into discharge plasma sintering furnace, controlling plasma sintering furnace axial pressure, vacuum heating, increasing the plasma sintering furnace temperature, cooling to constant temperature, cooling naturally, reducing the temperature of graphite crucible, decanting, and grinding into particles. USE - Preparation of tricalcium aluminate (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple, quick, convenient, energy-saving and highly efficient preparation of tricalcium aluminate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of tricalcium aluminate involves adding calcium carbonate and aluminum to two ball mill in a ratio of 1.7847:0.6061, milling at 300-500 rpm for 30-50 minutes, cooling to obtain a mixture, adding to lined cylindrical graphite crucible graphene paper, transferring into discharge plasma sintering furnace, controlling plasma sintering furnace axial pressure to 1-3 kN and pulse ratio ON/OFF to (6-48)/(1-8), vacuum heating at 30-50 Pa, increasing the plasma sintering furnace temperature to 1300-1400 degrees C for 10-20 minutes, cooling to constant temperature, cooling naturally, reducing the temperature of graphite crucible to 60-90 degrees C, decanting, and grinding into particles of 20 mu m.
