▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Core-shell composite catalyst comprises a core with spinel structure catalyst, and shell has molecular sieve catalyst e.g. zeolite socony mobil (ZSM)-5, ZSM-11, ZSM-35 and mordenite (MOR) zeolite, preferably ZSM-5 and ZSM-11. USE - The core-shell composite catalyst is useful as catalyst in one-step preparation of p-xylene by a syngas (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The core-shell composite catalyst has simple process and is easy to operate, provides high selectivity of p-xylene in xylene product and high conversion rate of syngas, and provides extended catalyst service life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Core-shell composite catalyst comprises a core with spinel structure of XYaOb catalyst, and shell has molecular sieve catalyst e.g. zeolite socony mobil (ZSM)-5, ZSM-11, ZSM-35 and mordenite (MOR) zeolite, preferably ZSM-5 and ZSM-11. X and Y = Al, Ga, In, Tl, Zn, Cu, Co, Fe, Mn, Cr, Ti, Mg, Ca, and Ba; a = 1-15; b = number of oxygen atoms; and M = Zn, Ga, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Zr, Cu, La, In and Ca. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing the core-shell composite catalyst, comprising (1) providing a core in the form of particles, (2) providing a molecular sieve catalyst in the form of particles, and (3) coating the core with a molecular sieve catalyst; and (2) preparing p-xylene from synthesis gas in one step, comprising using a core-shell type composite catalyst to prepare p-xylene from synthesis gas.
