NOVELTY - Preparation of lanthanum/titania-graphene composite photocatalytic material includes dissolving tetrabutyl titanate in absolute ethanol, stirring, adding distilled water, adjusting pH with hydrochloric acid, adding lanthanum nitrate hexahydrate, stirring, high-temperature heating, naturally cooling, centrifugally separating, washing, drying, grinding, high-temperature calcining, and cooling to obtain lanthanum-doped nano-titanium dioxide powder; and subjecting graphite to Hummers' method to obtain graphene oxide, dissolving in mixed solution of ethanol and distilled water, and dispersing. USE - Method for preparation of lanthanum/titania-graphene composite photocatalytic material (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of lanthanum/titania-graphene composite photocatalytic material comprises: (A) dissolving 10-20 mL tetrabutyl titanate in 70-100 mL absolute ethanol, vigorously stirring, adding 30-50 mL distilled water, adjusting pH with hydrochloric acid, adding lanthanum nitrate hexahydrate, and stirring continuously to obtain lanthanum dioxide composite solution; (B) transferring to reaction kettle, high-temperature heating, naturally cooling to room temperature, centrifugally separating, washing, drying, grinding, high-temperature calcining, and cooling to room temperature to obtain lanthanum-doped nano-titanium dioxide powder; (C) subjecting graphite to Hummers' method to obtain graphene oxide, dissolving in mixed solution of ethanol and distilled water, and ultrasonically dispersing; and (D) adding lanthanum-doped nano-titanium dioxide powder, stirring, transferring to reactor, high-temperature heating, naturally cooling to room temperature, filtering, washing, and drying.
