NOVELTY - Silicon-graphene composite cathode material, is claimed. The composite particles are graphene-silicon particles, and a vertical graphene layer is attached to the surface of the silicon particles. USE - The anode material is useful for lithium batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The anode material: has high conductivity, high specific surface area; and solves the problem of poor bonding force between the existing graphene sheet and the silicon substrate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing silicon-graphene composite cathode material.
