NOVELTY - The preparation of graphene oxide film involves (i) cleaning the surface of a ceramic tube substrate, glazing, calcining, rubbing and coating different particle sized ( alpha )-alumina powder-containing aqueous solution on the surface of ceramic tube substrate, calcining to obtain smooth surfaced ceramic tube substrate, (ii) sealing the ceramic tube ends with PTFE stopper, vertically immersing in graphene oxide solution, removing, naturally drying, immersing in graphene oxide aqueous solution, repeating for 2-10 times, and leaving still the mixture at room temperature in air atmosphere. USE - Preparation of graphene oxide film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables the preparation of graphene oxide film quickly and easily with high yield, uniform morphology, excellent smoothness, stability, and separation effect, and controllable flux and separation factor. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for application of graphene oxide film in dehydration of high-concentration ethylene glycol solution, which involves using graphene oxide film as a separation membrane, pervaporating, and dehydrating high-concentration ethylene glycol.
