NOVELTY - Multilayer ceramic electronic component (100) comprises: a ceramic body (110) including a dielectric layer and first and second internal electrodes disposed to face each other with the layer interposed between them; a first external electrode (131) is connected to the first internal electrode; and a second external electrode (132). The ceramic body includes a capacitance portion including the internal electrodes stacked in the third direction to form capacitance, a first cover portion disposed on the fifth surface, and/or a second cover portion. The first cover portion and/or the second cover portion include a cover reinforcing layer including graphene and an average thickness of greater than or equal to 5%. USE - The multilayer ceramic electronic component is useful for suppressing occurrence of cracks in the cover. ADVANTAGE - The multilayer ceramic electronic component has improved mechanical strength. The occurrence of cracks is suppressed. The growth and propagation of cracks in the cover and the margin having a reduced thickness is required. The thickness of dielectric layers between electrodes has also been reduced due to the thinning of the multilayer ceramic electronic component and increasing the capacity, so that an allowable voltage per capacitance unit thickness tends to continuously increase. The first cover portion and/or the second cover portion include a cover reinforcing layer including graphene, and the average thickness of the cover reinforcing layers is 5% or more of an average thickness in the first margin portion or the second margin portion.
