NOVELTY - A nano-composite material comprises graphene nanosheet, silver chloride nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles. The silver nanoparticles are coated on the surface of the silver chloride nanoparticles to form silver chloride/silver composite particles. The silver chloride/silver composite particles are encapsulated in graphene nanosheet. The silver nanoparticles have average size of 20-30 nm. The silver chloride nanoparticles having average size of 250-300 nm. The nano-composite material has average size of 270-330 nm. USE - Nano-composite material used for visible light irradiating bacteria, such as Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Pneumococcus, Clostridium tetani, Shigella, Salmonella typhi and Escherichia coli. ADVANTAGE - The nano-composite material is responsive to visible light which overcomes the traditional photocatalytic material UV light source limitations, and has high surface area of graphene that can increase the contact area of the material and bacteria to improve the antibacterial effect, and has good Gram-negative bacteria and Gram-positive bacteria antibacterial properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of nano-composite material comprising adding graphene aqueous solution to ethylene glycol, magnetically stirring to obtain reaction system, adding precipitant dissolved in ethylene glycol solution and polyvinyl pyrrolidone dissolved in ethylene glycol solution, stirring, slowly adding silver salt dissolved in ethylene glycol solution, mixing, heating, rapidly cooling to room temperature, separating through centrifugation, and washing with acetone and with water.
