NOVELTY - Lithium manganate and oxidized graphene and carbon nano-tube composite aerogel comprises graphene oxide, carbon nanotubes and lithium manganate to form hydrogel precursor, freezing and drying to obtain the composite gel material, the material of the oxide graphene can construct three-dimensional network structure, the carbon nano-tube shuttle to the network, manganese uniformly encapsulated within three-dimensional network. USE - The aerogel as aqueous lithium ion battery anode material (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing aerogel comprising (1) adding oxidized graphene, carbon nanotube and lithium manganate and ultrasonically dispersing in distilled water, stirring at room temperature and adding proper chitosan-acetic acid solution, stirring to form the hydrogel precursor, (2) preparing manganese and the oxide graphene and carbon nano-tube composite aerogel (GO/CNT-LMO) using the hydrogel prepared in step (1), allowing to stand for a period of time at room temperature, freezing and drying to obtain the lithium manganate and oxidized graphene and carbon nano-tube composite aerogel (GO/CNT-LMO).
