NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene quantum dot composite para-aramid fiber involves mixing vinyl functionalized graphene quantum dots and reactive benzotriazole, adding mixture comprising ammonium persulfate and deionized water, heating, purging nitrogen, filtering, washing, drying, obtaining reactive-type benzotriazole-grafted graphene quantum dot, mixing resultant product with mixture comprising para-aramid dissolved in methacrylic acid, dispersing, filtering, drying, obtaining graphene quantum dot-modified para-aramid, adding sulfuric acid, spinning, washing, heat-treating and winding. USE - Preparation of graphene quantum dot composite para-aramid fiber used for aircraft component, military application, automobile industry, armor component, communication cable and sports car component. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene quantum dot composite para-aramid fiber having excellent UV resistance and durability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene quantum dot composite para-aramid fiber involves mixing 100 pts. wt. ethylene diamine, 0.1-5 pts. wt. oxidized graphene quantum dot, 0.5-1 pt. wt. 4-dimethylaminopyridine and 0.5-1 pt. wt. 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride, obtaining mixed solution (A), ultrasonically dispersing for 30-60 minutes, reacting at 90-95 degrees C for 24-48 hours, cooling to room temperature, filtering, washing using water, drying at 60 degrees C for 12-24 hours, adding mixture comprising 0.5-1 pt. wt. 4-dimethylaminopyridine, 0.5-1 pt. wt. 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride and 100 pts. wt. acrylic acid, ultrasonically dispersing for 30-60 minutes, reacting at 50 degrees C for 12-24 hours, drying at 60 degrees C for 12-24 hours, obtaining vinyl functionalized graphene quantum dots, mixing 100-200 pts. wt. resultant product with 20-100 pts. wt. reactive benzotriazole, dissolving resultant product in 2000 pts. wt. deionized water, dripping mixture comprising 50 pts. wt. ammonium persulfate and 200 pts. wt. deionized water, stirring, heating to 80-100 degrees C, purging nitrogen, magnetically stirring for 12-24 hours, filtering, washing using water, drying at 60 degrees C for 12 hours, obtaining reactive-type benzotriazole-grafted graphene quantum dot, mixing 0.05-0.1 pt. wt. resultant product with mixture comprising 50-100 pts. wt. para-aramid dissolved in 200 pts. wt. methacrylic acid, ultrasonically dispersing for 60-120 minutes, filtering, drying, obtaining graphene quantum dot-modified para-aramid, mixing 15-25 pts. wt. resultant product with 75-85 pts. wt. concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring, spinning, washing using water, heat-treating and winding.
