NOVELTY - Preparing self-lubricating graphene coating involves forming catalyst-containing layer on surface of metal substrate, introducing organic gas and hydrogen gas into reaction chamber by hot wire chemical vapor deposition method, using heat source generated by hot wire to decompose organic gas, and adsorbing cracked carbon atoms in the reaction chamber to the surface of the catalyst-containing layer with the assistance of hydrogen to form a self-lubricating graphene coating. USE - Method for preparing self-lubricating graphene coating used in material and wear-resistant portion (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method can produce a graphene coating with good lubricating performance, and has wide practicability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. a material with a graphene coating on the surface, which comprises: a self-lubricating graphene coating is prepared on the surface of the metal substrate by the preparation method; and 2. a wear-resistant portion, which is: prepared by using the material or is obtained by preparing the self-lubricating graphene coating on the surface of the metal substrate by using the preparation method.
