NOVELTY - Preparing magnetic porous graphene comprises (i) preparing graphene oxide, (ii) modifying graphene oxide, (iii) preparing magnetic porous graphene; modifying graphene oxide comprises dispersing graphene oxide in ultrapure water ultrasonically for 20-30 minutes, adding activator glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride, activating at room temperature for 30-40 minutes, adding 1-methyl-3-phenylpropylamine, stirring and reacting at 65-75 degrees C for 60-80 minutes, adding ethanol solution and allowing to stand for 20-30 minutes, removing the supernatant, adding ethanol and centrifugal filtering, then adding distilled water and centrifuging to filter and drying at 55-60 degrees C. USE - The magnetic porous graphene is useful for removing organic pollutants in water (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the magnetic porous graphene, prepared by the above mentioned method.
