NOVELTY - Cerium oxide-graphene oxide modified glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) rib comprises high-silica glass fiber and multiple unit fibers wrapped in high-silica glass fiber. The vinyl resin containing cerium oxide-graphene oxide is filled between the unit fibers. The unit fibers include a central glass fiber and outer glass fibers and steel wires that are spaced outside the central glass fiber. The center glass fiber, the outer glass fiber and the steel wire are filled with vinyl resin containing cerium oxide-graphene oxide. The component of the vinyl resin containing cerium oxide-graphene oxide comprises vinyl resin, cerium oxide-graphene oxide, curing agent and polymerization inhibitor. The dosages of the cerium oxide-graphene oxide, curing agent and polymerization inhibitor are respectively 0.3-0.5 wt.%, 0.2-0.4 wt.% and 0.03-0.05 wt.%. USE - Used as cerium oxide-graphene oxide modified glass fiber reinforced polymer rib. ADVANTAGE - The rib has good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing polymer rib, comprising adding cerium nitrate into the graphene oxide solution, stirring, simultaneously adjusting the pH to obtain a reaction solution, placing the reaction solution into a reaction kettle for reaction to obtain a cerium oxide-graphene oxide composite material, uniformly mixing the cerium oxide-graphene oxide composite material, the curing agent, the polymerization inhibitor and the vinyl resin to prepare the cerium oxide-graphene oxide-containing vinyl resin, arranging the outer glass fibers and steel wires at intervals on the outside of the central glass fiber, forming the unit fibers by dipping the vinyl resin containing cerium oxide-graphene oxide for drawing and extrusion molding, arranging many unit fibers, secondary drawing and extrusion molding by impregnating vinyl resin containing cerium oxide-graphene oxide, and wrapping high silica glass fibers on the outside.
