NOVELTY - Preparation of photo-thermal response intelligent coating involves using silane coupling agent modified graphene oxide as filler, adding into bisphenol A diglycidyl ether and neopentyl glycol diglycidyl ether, adding curing agent polyetheramine D-230 (polyoxypropylenediamine), and curing to obtain modified graphene doped self-repairing coating with self-repairing function. USE - Preparation of photo-thermal response intelligent coating used for electrochemical corrosion protection (all claimed), corrosion-resistant materials, corrosion inhibitor protection and coating protection. ADVANTAGE - The silane coupling agent modified graphene oxide can effectively improve the dispersion performance of graphene in epoxy coating and avoid agglomeration. The graphene provides a physical shielding effect to prevent corrosive media from corroding metal substrates. The damaged portion of the epoxy coating can be repaired through photo-thermal conversion effect. The method can realize self-repairing of damaged portion of the coating by near infrared light, and has higher practicability and economic value. The method is simple and economical, and is safe to operate, and effectively improves the electrochemical corrosion resistance of the coating and repair the coating portion to improve the service life of coating.
