NOVELTY - The method involves preparing adsorption body containing metal material, and passing the tail gas containing the harmful substance through the adsorbed body, so that the adsorption body absorb harmful substance in the exhaust gas. The microwave is irradiated on the metal material of the adsorbent body. The metal material reacts with microwave to generate discharge reaction and form high temperature plasma. The microwave plasma cracking treatment is performed to the adsorption body absorbed with harmful substance under the action of microwave to reduce the organic matter in harmful substance to generate carbon material and graphene material. USE - Method for efficiently purifying harmful tail gas by using microwave plasma. ADVANTAGE - The method enables efficient purification of harmful tail gas by using microwave plasma with excellent adsorption performance of high performance adsorbent to efficiently adsorb the harmful substance in the tail gas. The high temperature environment formed by the adsorbed body absorbing the microwave efficiently makes the sulphur-containing in harmful substance, oxidizes the nitrogen-containing substance and oxygen consumption to form an oxygen-free environment, and oxidizes nitrogen-free atmosphere, thus reducing or eliminating harmful substance.
