NOVELTY - Producing thin film graphene-bonded metal foil current collector involves providing graphene suspension comprises graphene sheets dispersed in liquid medium, operating gravure or micro-gravure coater to deposit layer of graphene suspension onto one of the two primary surfaces of metal foil to form wet layer of graphene deposited. The fluid medium is removed from the deposited wet layer to form dry layer of graphene has layer thickness from 1-1000 nanometer. USE - Method for producing thin film graphene-bonded metal foil current collector for battery or supercapacitor. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to produce thin film graphene-bonded metal foil current collector for battery or supercapacitor that maximizes the specific energy and energy density of a cell.
