NOVELTY - Preparation of amphipathic polysaccharide/crosslinked graphene oxide dual network composite hydrogel adsorption material, involves stirring polysaccharide with solvent, adding zwitterionic monomer, initiator and crosslinking agent, stirring to obtain homogeneous solution, adding with graphene oxide dispersion, mixing and reacting in a microwave reactor and carrying out graft polymerization, immersing resulting single network composite hydrogel in purified water, washing and freeze-drying, immersing dry gel in aqueous solution of polyamine or amino-terminated polymer and reacting. USE - Preparation of amphipathic polysaccharide/crosslinked graphene oxide dual network composite hydrogel adsorption material used for absorbing and removing heavy metal ions and organic pollutants. ADVANTAGE - The dual network composite hydrogel has excellent mechanical properties, and has high adsorption capacity and rapid adsorption rate for heavy metal ions and organic pollutants. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of amphipathic polysaccharide/crosslinked graphene oxide dual network composite hydrogel adsorption material, involves (I ) mixing polysaccharide and solvent in a mass ratio of 1:5-100, stirring to dissolve, adding zwitterionic monomer (mixture of cationic and anionic monomers), initiator and crosslinking agent, stirring to dissolve to obtain a homogeneous solution, (ii) preparing graphene oxide using modified Hummers method and ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide in deionized water to obtain graphene oxide dispersion, (iii) adding homogeneous solution obtained in step (i) to graphene oxide dispersion obtained in step (ii) according to the mass ratio of graphene oxide and polysaccharide of 1:1-80, mixing and placing in a microwave reactor, reacting at a microwave power of 100-800 W for 2-30 minutes, and carrying out graft polymerization, immersing resulting single network composite hydrogel in purified water, washing and freeze-drying to obtain dry gel, (iv) immersing dry gel in aqueous solution of polyamine or amino-terminated polymer, and reacting at 20-90 degrees C for 2-24 hours to obtain double network composite hydrogel.
