NOVELTY - Method for preparing modified polyethylene pipe material, involves (a) placing raw materials comprising 220 pts. wt. polyethylene, 10 pts. wt. polypropylene, 5 pts. wt. glass fiber, 15 pts. wt. graphene, 25 pts. wt. nitrile rubber, 3 pts. wt. aluminum hydroxide, and 2 pts. wt. maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene in a blender, and stirring, (b) sending the stirred raw materials to an extruder for extrusion molding, (c) installing a traction machine at the exit of the extruder, and drawing and cooling the extruded pipe by the traction machine, where the traction machine comprises a frame, and an upper traction shaft and a lower traction shaft are installed on the frame, and the upper traction shaft and the lower traction shaft are respectively connected with a driving motor, (d) placing the pipe cooled by the traction machine in the cooling water tank for secondary cooling, and (e) using a cutting machine to cut the pipe. USE - The method is used for preparing modified polyethylene pipe material (claimed) for polymer pipe, preferably modified polymer pipe. ADVANTAGE - The method solves shortage of existing technology and improves durability of the pipe, solves the problem of cooling aging after extruding and forming the pipe, and the cooling process is mild and uniform, and there is no obvious stress change in the pipe. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a modified polyethylene pipe material prepared by the above method.
