NOVELTY - Preparation of cesium difluorophosphate, comprises carrying out ion exchange reaction with lithium difluorophosphate and cesium source. USE - The method is for preparation of cesium difluorophosphate for aqueous cathode slurry. Uses include but are not limited to 3C digital, electric tool, aerospace, energy storage, power automobile field and electronic information technology. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, easy to obtain, high yield and less impurity, and provides cathode slurry with high purity. The cesium difluorophosphate (CsDFP) is easy to dissolve in water and does not react with water, so it can be well compatible with other materials and can be uniformly dispersed in the cathode slurry. Because CsDFP in the electrolyte based on carbonate and/or carboxylic acid ester solubility is very low (less than 1000 ppm), so in the battery circulation process after electrolyte soakage cathode pole piece, the CsDsFP in cathode pole piece is gradually slow-released into electrolyte and participate in electrochemical reaction and CsdFP can reduce the activation energy of lithium ion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a cathode slurry comprising 90-96.25 pts. wt. cathode active material, 0.1-1 pts. wt. thickener, 0.1-3 pts. wt. conductive agent, 0.5-4.5 pts. wt. binder and 2.5-5 pts. wt. cesium difluorophosphate, where solvent adjusting viscosity is 2000-14000 mPa.second.; (2) a cathode pole piece; and (3) a secondary battery.
