▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A metal matrix nanocomposite comprises a metal or metal alloy as a matrix material, where the metal or metal alloy comprises silver, gold, platinum, zinc, cadmium, titanium, vanadium, cobalt, nickel, manganese, iron, molybdenum, tungsten, niobium, aluminum, magnesium, tin, indium, lead, an alloy and/or copper, and multiple graphene sheets that are dispersed in matrix material, where the multiple graphene sheets are aligned to be parallel to one another and are in an amount of 0.1-95 vol.% based on the total nanocomposite volume, where the multiple graphene sheets contain single-layer or few-layer graphene sheets chosen from pristine graphene material, or non-pristine graphene material, where the non-pristine graphene is chosen from graphene oxide, reduced graphene oxide, graphene fluoride, graphene chloride, graphene bromide, graphene iodide, hydrogenated graphene, nitrogenated graphene, doped graphene, and/or chemically functionalized graphene. USE - Metal matrix nanocomposite used as load-bearing element in structural component, and thermal management element in electronic device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The metal matrix nanocomposite in which the metal thickness relative to the graphene sheet thickness can be controlled. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A metal matrix nanocomposite comprises a metal or metal alloy as a matrix material, where the metal or metal alloy comprises silver, gold, platinum, zinc, cadmium, titanium, vanadium, cobalt, nickel, manganese, iron, molybdenum, tungsten, niobium, aluminum, magnesium, tin, indium, lead, an alloy and/or copper, and multiple graphene sheets that are dispersed in matrix material, where the multiple graphene sheets are aligned to be parallel to one another and are in an amount of 0.1-95 vol.% based on the total nanocomposite volume, where the multiple graphene sheets contain single-layer or few-layer graphene sheets chosen from pristine graphene material having 0% of non-carbon elements, or non-pristine graphene material having 0.001-25 wt.% of non-carbon elements where the non-pristine graphene is chosen from graphene oxide, reduced graphene oxide, graphene fluoride, graphene chloride, graphene bromide, graphene iodide, hydrogenated graphene, nitrogenated graphene, doped graphene, and/or chemically functionalized graphene, where the chemically functionalized graphene is not graphene oxide. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) electronic device; and (2) structural component. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a flowchart for production of oxidized graphene sheets.
