NOVELTY - A graphene oxide/ZIF-8 composite diaphragm comprises base film and multiple layers of graphene oxide/ZIF-8 modified layers arranged on base film. The base film is a thermally crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol/polyacrylic acid nanofiber film. The graphene oxide/ZIF-8 modified layer includes positively charged ZIF-8 layer and negatively charged graphene oxide layer that are self-assembled layer by layer on the base film driven by electrostatic adsorption force. USE - Graphene oxide/ZIF-8 composite diaphragm ADVANTAGE - The oxidation graphene/ZIF-8 composite diaphragm has good mechanical performance, chemical stability, and can effectively inhibit the shuttle effect of the polysulfide compound, so as to improve the electrochemical performance and service life of the lithium sulfur battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a preparation of the graphene oxide/ZIF 8 composite diaphragm comprising preparing thermally crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol/polyacrylic acid nanofiber film through electrospinning and thermal crosslinking treatment, using the thermally crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol/polyacrylic acid nanofiber film as base film, and sequentially assembling with positively charged ZIF-8 nanoparticles and negatively charged graphene oxide by electrostatic adsorption.
