NOVELTY - A negative electrode current collector (10) comprises a porous current collector matrix having channels, a lithium dissolving agent filled in the pores of the collector matrix and is a liquid or gel capable of dissolving lithium metal, and a locking layer attached to the pore wall of the channel and located between the pore wall of the pore channel and the lithium dissolving agent. The locking layer binds the lithium dissolving agent in the channel of the current collector matrix. USE - Negative electrode current collector used in lithium metal battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The negative electrode current collector can lock the lithium ion in the pore canal of the porous current collector matrix and store in the form of liquid or gel, thus reducing the volume expansion caused by lithium deposition, reducing the generation of lithium dendrite, and greatly improving the safety of the battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) lithium metal battery (100), which comprises the negative electrode current collector (10) as negative electrode, separator (50) and positive electrode (30), in order; and (2) manufacture of negative electrode current collector.
