NOVELTY - Preparing alizarin-based metal-organic framework/graphene composite electrode material involves adding metal salt aqueous solution to the alizarin and its derivative organic ligand solution and stirring to obtain metal-organic framework solution, dispersing the graphene in solution, and using solvothermal method to react to obtain the electrode material. USE - Method for preparing alizarin-based metal-organic framework/graphene composite electrode material in positive electrode of a lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, convenient, low in cost, and controllable in the preparation process. When electrode materials are used in lithium-ion batteries, both transition metals and organic ligands in the electrode materials participate in the electrochemical reaction, thus increases the charge and discharge capacity of electrode materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for applying the alizarin-based metal-organic framework/graphene composite electrode material, which involves mixing the electrode material and binder uniformly and coating on the current collector, then vacuum-drying to obtain the lithium ion battery positive electrode.
