▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - The method comprises mixing self-assembled graphene oxide suspension having negative charge and iron-amino clay suspension having positive charge by performing electrostatic interaction, and decomposing organic contaminants from the mixture using iron-hydrogen peroxide. The graphene oxide suspension is prepared by reacting graphite powder with a strong oxidizing agent and then performing ultrasonic treatment. The iron-amino clay suspension is prepared by e.g. completely dissolving iron(III) chloride hexahydrate in ethanol by stirring magnetically. USE - The method is useful for decomposing organic contaminants including methylene blue, orange II dye, 4-nitrophenol, methyl orange, methyl red, bismarck brown G solution, polar brilliant red 5G, Congo red, Fast black K salt, Procion yellow (RTM: Octasodium-7,7'-((2,2'-disulfonato-(1,1'-biphenyl)-4,4'-diyl)-bis(imino(6-chloro-1,3,5-triazine-4,2-diyl)imino(2-(carbamoylamino))-4,1-phenylene)azo)bis(naphthalene-1,3,6-trisulfonate)) and orange G solution (all claimed) in wastewater. ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of economically and rapidly decomposing the organic contaminants without the need of additional pH adjustment and producing by-products. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The method comprises mixing self-assembled graphene oxide suspension having negative charge and iron-amino clay suspension having positive charge by performing electrostatic interaction, and decomposing organic contaminants from the mixture using iron-hydrogen peroxide. The graphene oxide suspension is prepared by reacting graphite powder with a strong oxidizing agent and then performing ultrasonic treatment. The iron-amino clay suspension is prepared by completely dissolving iron(III) chloride hexahydrate in ethanol by stirring magnetically, adding 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane to the mixture to form precipitate, centrifuging the precipitate with aminoclay powder and then drying and pulverizing, and dispersing the pulverized mixture in distilled water. A molar ratio of iron(III) chloride hexahydrate and 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane is 0.5-0.8. A concentration of the graphene oxide suspension is 1.6-1.8 mg/ml. A concentration of the iron-amino clay suspension is 0.9-1.1 mg/ml. The decomposing step is accomplished at a temperature of 15-25 degrees C under neutral pH conditions.
