NOVELTY - Graphene powder (7) is obtained by cleaving a raw material (3) containing graphite by jet stream of gas at 100-1000 m/second, and micronizing. USE - Manufacture of graphene powder (claimed). Uses include but are not limited to electronic components, domestic electrical components, motor-vehicle components, machine components, ceramic components, industrial commodities, liquid-crystal flat panels, electrode materials of storage batteries, resistors, capacitors, transformers, catalyst substrates used in fuel cells, electronic tags, sensors, cement, ready mixed concrete, kitchen wraps, vibration-proof rubber, printing inks, medical wraps, toys, thermal radiation grease, etc. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and convenient mass-production of high-purity graphene powder. The obtained graphene powder provides products having excellent electroconductivity, heat conductivity, transparency, strength, gas-barrier property, and electrode corrosion resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for graphene powder in which the content of graphene powder having 30-10000 times, preferably 50-10000 times long side length of cleavage plane with respect to thickness, is 70% or more.
