NOVELTY - The method for preparing graphene oxide aerogel, involves (1) dissolving sodium alginate in deionized water to prepare 5-7 wt.% sodium alginate aqueous solution, (2) preparing graphene oxide solution with mass concentration of 2-5%, adding sodium alginate aqueous solution to graphene oxide solution, magnetically stirring for 1-2 hours, adding gluconolactone, heating at 40-50 degrees C and stirring for 30-50 minutes to obtain mixture (A), (3) adding thioglycolic acid to mixture (A) and heating at 70-80 degrees C for 2-4 hours, (4) ultrasonically processing for 20 minutes, after the reaction is finished, washing with deionized water, repeating the ultrasonic process and water washing process for 3 times, (5) lyophilizing in a freeze dryer at -20 degrees C for 36-48 hours. USE - Method for preparing graphene oxide aerogel used for efficiently adsorbing heavy metal ions such as copper ion, cadmium ion and lead ion. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene oxide aerogel with high porosity, specific surface area, mechanical strength, strong adsorption capacity and improved adsorption effect on heavy metal ions, and eliminates the influence of pH temperature.
