NOVELTY - A silicon-based cathode material comprises silicon-based core and shell layer set on silicon-based inner core. The silicon-based core comprises silicon oxide (SiOx) and silicon microcrystalline dispersed in SiOx, where x is 0.9-1.3; and along silicon-based core surface layer to silicon-based core center of direction. The distribution density of silicon microcrystalline is gradually reduced. The shell layer comprises carbon layer. USE - The silicon-based cathode material is used as secondary battery (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the silicon-based cathode material comprising dynamically heating silicon oxide at 800-1200 degrees C for 1-6 hours to obtain silicon-based core.
