NOVELTY - Preparation of graphite oriented thermal interface material involves (1) mixing raw material components of the graphite oriented thermal interface material uniformly, obtaining mixture, (2) orienting the mixture, obtaining a lamellar mixture, (3) freezing the lamellar mixture, obtaining frozen flake layered mixture, (4) maintaining the frozen state of the frozen flake layered mixture, cutting the frozen flake layered mixture, obtaining a sheet-like sample with a specified width and length, and laminating the layered samples, (5) using vacuum pressure to process the laminated samples, slowly heating, making the mixture change from solid state to viscous fluid state, obtaining a dense sample preform, (6) performing high temperature curing treatment on the dense sample preform, obtaining a cured sample, and (7) cutting the cured sample in the direction perpendicular to the thickness of the layered sample. USE - Preparation of graphite oriented thermal interface material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces graphite orientation type thermal interface material with high compactness and low thermal resistance.
