NOVELTY - A 6,13-diazatetracyclo(6.6.2.04,16.011,15)hexadeca-1,3,8(16),9,11(15)-pentene-5,7,12,14-tetrone compound (I) or (II), is new. USE - New 6,13-diazatetracyclo-pentene-5,7,12,14-tetrone used for forming channel component of graphene transistor for biosensor (all claimed) such as portable electronic gas sensor for detecting cadaverine or putrescine for meat freshness. ADVANTAGE - The compound (I) or (II) is capable of detecting cadaverine or putrescine even at real time with high sensitivity and selectivity and provides biosensor having excellent sensitivity, specificity, quickness, and portability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A 6,13-diazatetracyclo(6.6.2.04,16.011,15)hexadeca-1,3,8(16),9,11(15)-pentene-5,7,12,14-tetrone compound of formula (I) or (II), is new. R1-R7 = H, D, halo, hydroxy, amino, 1-20C alkyl, 3-30C cycloalkyl, 6-30C aryl or 2-30C heteroaryl; r1-r7 = 1-4; n1-n4 = 1-5;and m1-m4 = 1-10. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) graphene channel component, which comprises a graphene film, and at least one receptor chosen from compound (I) or (II), immobilized on graphene film; and (2) biosensor, which comprises a board, the graphene channel component, and a pair of electrode and including graphene transistor.
