NOVELTY - A nano graphene-enhanced particulate comprises graphene sheets (304) and 10- mu m fine anode active material particles (302, 402) which are mutually bonded or agglomerated into particulate (306) with greater than or equal to 1 graphene sheet embracing anode active material particles in which amount of graphene is 0.01-99 wt.% and of anode active material is greater than or equal to 0.1 wt.%. USE - A nano graphene-enhanced particulate used as anode active material for lithium-ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - Anode materials are readily made into electrodes with high electrode capacity and long-term cycling stability. Reversible capacity and cycle efficiency are improved. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) lithium ion battery anode comprising multiple nano graphene-enhanced anode particulates; and (2) lithium ion battery comprising anode, cathode, separator which is disposed between anode and cathode, and electrolyte in physical contact with both anode and cathode.
