NOVELTY - Preparing catalyst comprises dissolving copper chloride hydrate in absolute ethanol to obtain solution A, adding the pyridine into the ethanol solution to obtain solution B, pouring the solution A and solution B into the container to obtain precipitate, filtering, placing the precipitate in the oven to dry and taking out to obtain the pyridine copper chloride, taking the prepared pyridine copper chloride, dissolving in hydrochloric acid, stirring when the solution is clear blue solution, taking carrier and auxiliary agent, soaking the carrier in the solution, dipping, taking out the carrier soaked with pyridine copper chloride, washing with distilled water, and placing the carrier into the oven to dry and taking out. USE - The catalyst is useful in fixed bed, or fluidized bed, moving bed, boiling bed, slurry bed, suspended bed, stirred tank, a bubble column reactor or a combination reactor in acetylene hydrochlorination reaction, and oxidation, substitution, alkylation, aromatization, chlorination, fluoridation, polymerization, dealkylation, vulcanization, hydrogenation, dehydrogenation, hydrochlorination, carbonylation and hydroxylation, epoxidation, elimination, oxychlorination, hydrochlorination, ammonolysis, reduction, decomposition, esterification, metathesis, thermal cracking, addition, hydration, isomerization and halogenation reaction (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has good catalytic activity, high selectivity and good stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing catalyst comprises dissolving copper chloride hydrate in absolute ethanol to obtain solution A, adding the pyridine into the ethanol solution to obtain solution B, pouring the solution A and solution B into the container to obtain precipitate, filtering, placing the precipitate in the oven to dry and taking out to obtain the pyridine copper chloride, taking the prepared pyridine copper chloride, dissolving in hydrochloric acid, stirring when the solution is clear blue solution, taking carrier and auxiliary agent, soaking the carrier in the solution, dipping, taking out the carrier soaked with pyridine copper chloride, washing by distilled water, placing the carrier into the oven to dry and taking out, or replacing copper chloride hydrate in the above method with other soluble copper salts, e.g. copper nitrate, or copper acetate, copper formate, copper sulfate, copper phosphate, copper pyrophosphate, copper hypochlorite, copper ammonium chloride and/or copper phthalocyanine, after the catalyst is prepared according to the above method steps, activating under liquid environmental conditions containing hydrogen chloride gas and hydrochloric acid, hypochlorous acid, and perchloric acid to prepare a catalyst with pyridine copper chloride as the active component.
