NOVELTY - Preparing porous graphene material comprises (i) providing a mixture of coal tar and potassium carbonate; and (ii) calcining the coal tar in the protective atmosphere with a mixture of potassium carbonate. USE - The method is useful for preparing porous graphene material. ADVANTAGE - The method: is environmentally-friendly, simple, high yield, low device requirement; has controllable specific surface area, can develops the pore and thin sheet; prepares porous graphene material, which can shorten the ion diffusion distance, which is good for the transport of charges, can be exposed more adsorption sites, which is good for porous graphene material and utilizes capacitor electrode. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) porous graphene material, is prepared by the method; (2) use of capacitor electrode in porous graphene material; (3) capacitor, comprising the capacitor electrode; and (4) electric device, comprising the capacitor.
