NOVELTY - A modified epoxy resin sealant comprises component-A and curing agent at weight ratio of 100:3-15. Component-A contains 1.0-8.0 wt.% diluent, 25.0-39.0 wt.% nanofiller, 0.5-4.5 wt.% toughening agent, 0.08-0.45 wt.% coupling agent, 0.08-0.45 wt.% pigment and balance modified graphene-epoxy resin. USE - Modified epoxy resin sealant. ADVANTAGE - The sealant has excellent high and low temperature impact performance, reduced moisture absorption and expansion coefficient, extended storage time and enhanced capacity to suppress cracking. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of modified epoxy resin sealant comprising: (A) mixing 0.5-2.5 wt.% graphene and 10.0-50.0 wt.% acetone, stirring at 600-800 revolutions/minute for 1-1.5 hours, dispersing, adding 97.5-99.5 wt.% epoxy resin, stirring at 120-250 revolutions/minute for 2.5-3.0 hours, and placing in vacuum oven at 75|/2 degrees C to carry out complete evaporation of solvent; (B) preparing component-A by mixing graphite-modified epoxy resin and diluent in vacuum planetary mixer, stirring at 50|/5 revolutions/minute for 30|/5 minutes with vacuum degree of 0.070-0.099 MPa, adding nanofiller, toughening agent, coupling agent and pigment, and stirring at 300|/50 revolutions/minute for 80|/10 minutes; and (C) preparing epoxy resin sealant by mixing curing agent and component-A in vacuum planetary mixer at 50|/5 revolutions/minute for 60|/5 minutes.
