NOVELTY - An electrode comprises one or more active material chosen from carbon nanotube, activated charcoal, hard carbon, graphite, graphene and carbon nanohorn, ionic liquid and three-dimensional mesh-shaped metal porous material. USE - Electrode is used for electrical storage device e.g. electrical double layered capacitor or lithium-ion capacitor (all claimed) for electric equipment. ADVANTAGE - The electrical storage device using the electrode has improved electrostatic capacitance, cell voltage and energy density.
