NOVELTY - The protection method of graphene involves coating protective liquid on graphene surface and curing protection liquid by heating or illumination to form a graphene thin film comprising a protective layer. USE - The method is useful for protection of graphene, used for forming graphene thin film for use as transparent electrode (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables effective protection of graphene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) graphene thin film containing protective layer; (2) laser etching method, which involves laser etching graphene thin film comprising the protective layer using UV, infrared or visible light laser; and (3) application of graphene thin film as transparent electrode.
