NOVELTY - Method comprises (a) adding 80 ml N,N-dimethyl formamide (DMF) in 150 ml beaker, stirring while adding 80 mg graphite oxide (GO), sonicating for 1.5 hours, stirring for 0.5 hours to prepare a dispersion of 1 mg/ml concentration, (b) adding ferric chloride hexahydrate and zinc chloride into the GO dispersion, stirring to dissolve, maintaining iron (III)/zinc (II) molar ratio as 1:0, 1:0.5, 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and 1: 4, (c) adding 1.2227 g terephthalic acid to the mixed dispersion, stirring to dissolve, continuously stirring for 0.5 hours, (d) transferring 100 ml mixed dispersion into a high pressure kettle, carrying out solvent thermal reaction 24 hours, (e) cooling, centrifugal washing, and collecting precipitate, (f) transferring washed precipitate to a vacuum freeze drier, drying for 24 hours to constant weight, (g) annealing dried precipitate in a tubular furnace with argon protection atmosphere and high temperature of 600 degrees C and at heating rate of 5 degrees C/minute for 2 hours, and cooling. USE - The method is useful for preparing double-metal organic framework derived magnetic carbon composite wave-absorbing material. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and environment-friendly, does not produce toxic byproducts, simply changes the molar ratio of iron salt and zinc salt in the precursor to ensure that the carbon frame shape is gradually changed from the conventional regular octahedron to the pomegranate shape, simultaneously the matching thickness can be changed to achieve strong absorption, wide bandwidth, efficient absorption to completely cover the Ku wave band, and thus suitable for the field of electromagnetic absorption and electromagnetic shielding. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing double-metal organic framework (MOFs) derived magnetic carbon composite wave-absorbing material, comprises (a) adding 80 ml N,N-dimethyl formamide (DMF) in 150 ml beaker, stirring while adding 80 mg graphite oxide (GO), sonicating for 1.5 hours, stirring for 0.5 hours to prepare a dispersion of 1 mg/ml concentration, (b) respectively adding ferric chloride hexahydrate and zinc chloride into the GO dispersion, stirring to completely dissolve, maintaining iron (III)/zinc (II) molar ratio as 1:0, 1:0.5, 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and 1: 4, (c) adding 1.2227 g terephthalic acid to the mixed dispersion, violently stirring to completely dissolve, continuously stirring for 0.5 hours, (d) transferring 100 ml mixed dispersion into a high pressure kettle with polytetrafluoroethylene lining, carrying out solvent thermal reaction for 24 hours, (e) cooling, centrifugal washing for multiple times by repeatedly using DMF and absolute ethyl alcohol, and collecting precipitate, (f) transferring the washed precipitate to a vacuum freeze drier, drying for 24 hours to constant weight, (g) annealing the dried precipitate in a tubular furnace with argon protection atmosphere and high temperature of 600 degrees C and at the heating rate of 5 degrees C/minute under heat preservation condition for 2 hours, and cooling to obtain the final product, where the composite material contains porous carbon frame with a special shape (octahedron, pomegranate) entangled with fold-reduced graphene oxide (RGO). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for iron-based double-metal MOFs derived magnetic carbon composite wave-absorbing material prepared by the method.
