NOVELTY - The method for separation and purification of graphene oxide involves adding quaternary ammonium salt to graphene oxide mixed solution, stirring, leaving for 0.5-5 hours to obtain a heterogeneous system with upper-layer clear precipitate and lower-layer brown precipitate, filtering, centrifuging, carrying out liquid separation, separating, washing precipitates, removing other impurities such as metal ions to obtain high-purity graphene oxide, subjecting high-purity graphene oxide to existing reduction process to form reduced graphene, where the surface of graphene oxide has no quaternary ammonium salt adsorption. USE - Method is useful for separation and purification of graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method enables rapid separation and purification of graphene oxide with high purity, and is suitable for industrial mass production.
