NOVELTY - Preparing nano-titania photocatalyst involves mixing beta-cyclodextrin and sodium hydroxide solution uniformly, adding chloroacetic acid, using fuming hydrochloric acid to adjust the pH of the solution, keeping to cool, adding methanol, extracting, centrifuging, and drying to obtain modified cyclodextrin. The modified cyclodextrin is mixed with nano titanium dioxide, adjusted the pH of the system with a phosphate solution, added cyanamide, kept to cool, centrifuged, washed and dried, and obtained modified titanium dioxide. The concentrated sulfuric acid potassium permanganate is mixed uniformly, heated up, added water and hydrogen peroxide, washed, adjusted the pH value of the solution, added water, sonicated, centrifuged, and freeze-dried to obtain graphene oxide. The graphene oxide is combined with modified titanium dioxide is a modified photocatalyst. The modified photocatalyst is soaked in the hydrogen iodide solution, which is the nano-titania photocatalyst.
