NOVELTY - A Bacillus velezensis K-19 (CCTCC NO: M2020672), is new. USE - The Bacillus velezensis is useful in bacterial agent used for inhibiting plant pathogen, such as plant fungal pathogens and plant bacterial pathogens, reducing disease index, reducing plant diseases, promoting plant growth, inhibiting aging and extending growth period, and used for promoting growth and/or weight gain of plant seedling, such as peanuts, cucumbers, ginger, cabbage, tomatoes, beans and/or peas (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The Bacillus velezensis has no toxic side effects, no hemolytic activity and excellent plant promoting and biocontrol effects, promotes peanut plants in the field conditions, does not produce drug resistance, reduces the pathogenesis, prolongs the growth period, ensures excellent colonization effect, promotes the growth of plants, and reduces the plant diseases. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (I) a bacterial agent comprising metabolism of B.velezensis K-19 and/or B.velezensis K-19 product; and (II) a method for culturing B.velezensis, involving using medium of 0.8-1.5 wt.% glucose as carbon source and 2-5 wt.% soybean meal as nitrogen source, and culturing at 10-40 degrees C, preferably 30-40 degrees C under culture pH of 3.5-8.5, preferably 6.5-7.5, and fermenting for 36-44 hours.
