NOVELTY - The method for the preparation of graphene oxide quantum dots-bryanite coordination complex involves adding concentrated nitric acid to carbon fiber, again dripping concentrated sulfuric acid to carbon fiber, ultrasonically treating, dispersing the carbon fibers into smaller particles, heating the mixed solution, cooling the solution to obtain graphene oxide quantum dots solution, adding zinc sulfate heptahydrate to the solution, fully dissolving, adjusting pH value of the solution to 4-5.5 using anhydrous sodium carbonate solution, and hydrothermally reacting. USE - Method is useful for the preparation of graphene oxide quantum dots-bryanite coordination complex (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide quantum dots-bryanite coordination complex has improved methylene blue adsorption property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The method for the preparation of graphene oxide quantum dots-bryanite coordination complex involves adding more than 20 times the weight of concentrated nitric acid to carbon fiber, again dripping more than 3 times the concentration of concentrated sulfuric acid to carbon fiber, continuously stirring, ultrasonically treating for 2-5 hours, dispersing the carbon fibers into smaller particles, heating the mixed solution at 100-150 degrees C for 16-36 hours, cooling the solution and then diluting with water to obtain graphene oxide quantum dots solution, adding zinc sulfate heptahydrate to the solution, where the added amount of zinc sulfate heptahydrate is 3-10 times the weight of graphene, fully dissolving, adjusting pH value of the solution to 4-5.5 using anhydrous sodium carbonate solution, transferring the solution to the hydrothermal reactor and then reacting for 3-4 hours at 200 degrees C to obtain coordination complex, and washing the product with deionized water and ethanol to remove impurities from the surface of the product.
