NOVELTY - A graphene derivative-lithium salt composite material comprises lithium graphene oxide, where 23.4-24.3 wt.% oxygen content of graphene oxide and 6.8-7.3 wt.% lithium content are combined to form the lithium graphene oxide. USE - Graphene derivative-lithium salt composite material for use as an electrode material of a lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material is rich in the lithium graphene oxide, so that capacity of the material can be improved. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) a method for preparing a graphene derivative-lithium salt composite material, which involves performing heat cracking reaction on graphite oxide, combining the graphene oxide with a lithium ion-containing compound, mixing the graphene oxide with N-methyl pyrrolidone to dissolve followed by stirring to form lithium content in the graphene oxide and drying to obtain the graphene derivative-lithium salt composite material (2) a lithium-ion battery.
